Bailee is an artist.

Raised in Sonoma County, California, and currently based in Seattle, Washington, Bailee is a visual artist specializing in ink on paper and skin. 

In her painting practice, she makes the visceral visual through fluctuating line work, rhythm, and movement. Starting from a basis in figurative painting, ink and watercolor amplify the contradictory and consequential nature of the emotional experience, invoking fleeting imagery resembling waves, smoke, and ripples.

As a tattoo artist, Bailee draws inspiration from the stylistic development of Japanese manga, from Hokusai to modern day chibi style. In this way, she creates uplifting and whimsical designs for her clients. She has been tattooing for 1.5 years and is currently based in Rooted Body Tattoo in Beacon Hill, Seattle, WA.
